Alexa Chung was born on 5th November 1983, in Hampshire, England. She is a TV presenter, a model and a glamour personality.
Her overall career started with modeling while she was studying at Chelsea College of Art & Design. She was only 16 at the time and got signed up by Storm Model Management. Her unique looks due to her English/Chinese mix, gave her what it was needed to become a model. She appeared in Elle Girl and CosmoGirl, and appeared in the ads for Fanta, Sony Ericsson, Sunsilk and Tampax. After than followed a stream of music videos for the pop-artists like Delta Goodrem, Westlife, Holly Valance and others.
She quit modeling in after 4 years wanting to go into art and start an art foundation but became a TV personality in 2008 and returned to modeling. Her acting TV career includes (among others) co-hosting Popworld as well as a radio show of the same name in 2006. In 2009, she left UK for USA and started presenting "It's on with Alexa Chung" on MTV.
While she was a TV presenter, she also had a parallel journalist career, writing monthly articles for Company, and weekly columns for The Independent (both UK versions). In 2009, British Vogue also made her a contributing editor.
On a personal note, she has high-profile relationships, including one with her photographer David Titlow, who continued taking photos of her, even after their recent break up of a three and half year relationship. She does charity and campaign work and was also a mentor in one of the projects about photography. Alexa Chung has her own official website but various internet sites also offer interviews and photos of her. She became and "It Girl" in 2007 thanks to her unique dress sense and her exotic and different looks. In December 2009, she made it to the top of Vogue's Style List.
